Physical therapy jobs in Connellsville.
Two clinics, one family, and a mentorship program that was built on purpose rather than assembled after somebody quit. If you want to know what it is like to practice here, this page is written for you and not for a patient.
Who you would actually be working for.
King Physical Therapy and Fitness is family owned and operated by Emily Watkins, Matthew King and Jarrod King. That is the whole ownership structure. There is no private equity group behind it, no regional director you have never met, and no quarterly target handed down from a state you do not live in.
The practice opened in 2000 and now runs two clinics, one in Connellsville and one in Scottdale. Care here is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit, and patients see the same therapist through their plan. If you have worked somewhere that treats those two sentences as marketing rather than scheduling, you will notice the difference in your first week.
If you are reading a careers page at eleven at night after a day of stacked appointments, you already know what you are looking for, and it is not a bigger caseload. It is enough room in an hour to find out why the shoulder is doing that. Wanting that is not being precious about the job. It is the job.
We hire licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. We are also happy to hear from students who are close to finishing, because the mentorship program below was designed with exactly that person in mind.

What does the mentorship program involve?
It is a structured mentorship program, which is a phrase worth unpacking, because most clinics use it to mean somebody senior is technically in the building. Structured means it is scheduled, it is somebody’s named responsibility, and it does not evaporate the first month the schedule gets tight.
It comes with unlimited continuing education units. Not a stipend that runs out in March, and not a course catalog you have to argue your way into. If the course will make you better at the part of this job that is hard, we would rather you took it.
A first job sets your habits for a decade. Left alone in a clinic that never gives you time to think, a good clinician quietly learns to stop looking for the cause, because looking never fit in the slot. That habit is far harder to unlearn later than it was to avoid at the start.
